TRUSTED BY AGILE TEAMS:
Ready to Stop The Drift?
Our particular use case was for sharing sprint status and release notes with our end users. Without this add-in, we would have had to provide Jira Software licenses for end users to be able to see the status of stories. That’s a lot of money just to see “In Progress” turn into “Done”. With this helpful add-on, we are able to provide transparency to our users with a minimum of expense.”
“This is something I was waiting for years! If you need to keep a record of your issues at a specific time (this is the case in medical device industry), this is a perfect solution. Once you make a snapshot, it will not change when the linked issues are changed in Jira, they will be “frozen” in the moment of the snapshot. The native Confluence solution uses dynamic linking, and you can’t use it for controlled records.”
With Snapshots, we can record the exact state of the Jira issues at the time the document is generated.
We have configured the generated documents to record in perfect detail exactly what we need.”
Luckily, the app extends Jira’s JQL, which allows executing queries in succession, mapping one level to the next, and filtering items based on the previous level. It also supports our custom fields and integrates well with XRay. This allows us to easily create traceability matrices and documents mapping requirements to tests to test executions. Super useful!
We can create reports consisting of several snapshots and integrate it within our own documentation. RadBee’s support is also first class. We started with the plugin shortly after the first release and ran into some initial problems, but these were resolved quickly, thanks to Rina’s help.”
